A handcrafted home of timber, stone, and steel at Brasada Ranch — built from reclaimed and antique materials, and rooted in the high desert.
Not modern — made to last. A Brasada Ranch home in timber, stone, and steel, with a hundred years of history in the wood.
Inside the gates of Brasada Ranch, this home is authentic high desert through and through. A soaring lava-rock fireplace climbs the full height of the vaulted great room, framed by warm ochre walls and a ceiling laid in weathered railroad-car decking. Overhead, hand-hewn beams more than a century old hang on rope as light fixtures, strung with warm Edison bulbs.
The materials carry the story. The open-tread staircase is milled from 130-year-old barn wood and hung on blackened steel; reclaimed planks run underfoot; heavy timber posts and a mesh-railed loft frame the room. In the kitchen, knotty-alder cabinetry meets a brick backsplash and a live-edge island. Nothing here is off the shelf.
It's the kind of home Brasada is made for — equestrian trails and resort amenities at the doorstep, and the quiet of the high desert all around.
From Brasada to open acreage, we build ranch and estate homes across Central Oregon. Let's talk.
